Wedgwood Otters Restoration

This restoration focused on a pair of Wedgwood otters, an extremely rare limited edition where only five pieces were ever produced, despite a planned run of 250. (Note the "Not for sale" mark on the base.)

The piece required extensive reconstruction: the entire front section of the base was smashed. Unfortunately, the original fragments were discarded by the owners, which meant our restorers had to fully reconstruct the entire front of the base from scratch. Following this complex fabrication, a meticulous process of colour and glaze matching was undertaken, resulting in a very high-quality, seamless restoration.
